Wilier Adlar Gravel Bike

The Wilier Adlar is a purpose-built carbon gravel bike designed specifically for bikepacking, long-distance exploration, and total autonomy on the trail. Engineered to handle the rigors of heavy travel, the reinforced NHU-MOD carbon monocoque frame is rated for a maximum additional load of 35 kg. Its design philosophy leans heavily into mountain bike territory, featuring a pronounced reach and an open 70° steering angle. This geometry allows for the use of a shorter stem, providing superior handling and stability when the bike is fully loaded with gear on technical terrain.

One of the most versatile aspects of the Adlar is its "ready for change" chassis. It offers massive tire clearance, accommodating up to 52 mm gravel tires or even 29 x 2.00" mountain bike tires. The frame is also uniquely compatible with suspension forks up to 40 mm of travel without altering the bike's core geometry. For those planning serious expeditions, the fork includes internal routing for a dynamo hub cable, and the standard 27.2 mm seatpost can be swapped for a dropper post to increase confidence on steep descents.

Practicality is integrated into every inch of the frame. To protect the rider from spray while maximizing space, the seat tube is shaped to act as a small integrated mudguard. Because the bike is designed exclusively for single-crown (1x) transmissions, the frame remains sleek and focused. Load management is handled through strategic fixing points where front and rear carriers bolt directly into the thru-axles, shifting structural stress away from the carbon tubes. Additional mounts are located under the down tube and on the top tube, ensuring you can carry three water bottles or extra tool kits for hours of uninterrupted riding.
