The perfect tire for MTB racing with Schwalbe 's new ADDIX compound. With this new rubber compound, Schwalbe succeeded in improving its tires in almost all disciplines. 

The development goal at the Thunderburt was to unite the best of Racing Ralph and Furious Fred in one tire. In the grip Thunderburt with its many small studs Racing Ralph is close on his heels and on the subject of rolling resistance he even pulls at the furious Fred. 

ADDIX Compound

ADDIX - the new compound for all legendary tires of the EVO line, more grip, more speed, more mileage. 
Schwalbe succeeded in this through a new mixing process, in which the ingredients for the preparation of the rubber mixture can be more precisely controlled. Schwalbe has developed 4 compounds for intended use applications. Significant improvements are achieved mainly in durability and grip. 

LiteSkin

The LiteSkin tires dispense with SnakeSkin, but they also have the reinforced bead core. This makes them slightly lighter, but the puncture protection is less. The possibility to drive this variant with sealing fluid Tubeless is given, but Schwalbe does not guarantee that the tire is permanently sealed.
