This version is engineered to be approximately 13 grams lighter than its predecessor and features an engineered mesh upper with a water-repellent treatment to reduce water absorption in wet conditions. The midsole incorporates premium FF BLAST PLUS cushioning foam for cloud-like softness and responsive energy return, paired with curved GUIDESOLE technology that reduces ankle flexion and absorbs shock to help you run easier and longer. For exceptional stability and traction across a variety of outdoor terrains, the shoe is equipped with ASICS proprietary ASICSGRIP outsole rubber alongside a protective EVA sockliner for optimal moisture management.
