It provides reliable weather defense with a 10 000 mm water column rating, a 5 000 g/m2/24h breathability rating, and a water-repellent surface finish. Practical design elements include a fixed two-way adjustable hood, hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs, an adjustable shaped hem, a front zip with a wind placket and chin guard, and two zipped front pockets.
