The Continental Trinotal 29 x 2.40 is a high-performance folding mountain bike tire handmade in Germany at the Korbach factory. Developed as the technical successor to the Cross-King model, it is engineered for cross-country, down-country, trail, and marathon use across hardpack and mixed terrain in both dry and wet conditions. The tire is built around Continental's Race casing, which represents the lightest and fastest construction in their mountain bike range, using a 330 TPI three-ply layout. It features the speed-focused Rapid rubber compound, optimized for acceleration and efficiency on flat stretches and steep climbs. This Tubeless Ready tire accommodates lower operating pressures for stability, is E-bike compatible for speeds up to 25 km/h, and operates up to a maximum air pressure of 3.5 bar on inner rim widths from 21 mm to 35 mm.
