It has a 10,000/8,000 breathable, moisture-resistant NeoDry membrane and waterproof seams and zips to provide a good degree of protection against moderate rainfall.

The jacket can be worn as a rainproof layer (hardshell) over clothing that performs an insulating function, such as down, fleece or softshell.
